A chance to hang out with friends
The Encompass Respite & Tours Program offers a range of community-based daytime, overnight and weekend activities and mini-breaks for adults who live with a disability.
The program provides opportunities for Participants with different interests, skills and abilities to enjoy time away to explore new places and build new friendships and social networks whilst also offering families some time out from their caring duties.
Our trips and activities are planned around feedback from Participants and by working together to brainstorm new and exciting destinations and activities.
We stay in a variety of self-contained accommodation including private houses, school and community camps, hostels and caravan parks and eat out in local restaurants and cafes.
Participants must be funded under the National Disability Insurance Scheme [NDIS] and are required to pay a participation fee to cover the cost of accommodation, food and activities.
If you are unsure of whether you are eligible to access the program or would like further information, call Janelle on 03 5222 3377 or 0419 943 955.
